Targhee is a Fine wool, soft and elastic. The breed was developed in Idaho in 1926, one of the newest in America. Most of the Targhee sheep are in the western rangelands in large flocks. The farm we bought fleece from is no longer breeding Targhee sheep.

Description

Good all-purpose knitting yarn. Targhee is a Fine wool, soft and elastic. Easy to knit, easy to wear, this worsted weight yarn is spun very evenly, has good body and fairly sturdy ply. Not a bit scratchy, it’s a good yarn for toddlers, kids and grownup clothes. Great for colorwork.

fiber content/care: 100% Targhee wool. Pre-washed. hand wash warm with low agitation, lay flat to dry.
