Airyholme – UK Leicester Longwool Aran

Named for the farm owned by my friends who raise the sheep in Yorkshire, Robin and Anne have an incredible show and breeding flock of Leicester Longwool sheep and I decided it needed to be yarn too! Airyholme is a lovely 3-ply created for me at the wonderful Natural Fibre Co in England (makers of Blacker Yarns!) and they’ve absolutely outdone themselves. Each skein is 100g, and approximately 165 yards. It’s a lovely, lustrous silver. This needs to be my next cabled sweater!
