From Jul Designs: “Paisley is an ancient Indian ornamental motif that we have developed in the Paisley Bridge Closure. The Paisley Bridge is part of our line of screw in closures that may be attached to knitted, crocheted, and some woven garments without pre-planning as the screws used in the Bridge Closure go between stitches / loops / warp & weft, held in place by backing disks.
To use the Paisley Bridge, unscrew the screw from the threaded cylinder and remove the back disk from the shank. With the threaded cylinder held in the Paisley Bridge, work the shank gently in between the stitches of your garment or accessory from the front. Place the back disk over the cylinder shank on the back side of the piece. Screw in the screw with your fingers to secure. For semi-permanent attachment and to avoid losing screws or backings, place a tiny drop of clear nail polish in the threaded cylinder before securing. This will keep the closure in place while it’s on the body but still allows you to unscrew it when you are ready for a change.
The Paisley Bridge is ideal for garments and accessories you don’t intend to take on and off often, or for pieces which can be taken on and off by going over your head.”
